Mr. Roenicke will work continuously to keep our tax cards current and may from time to time be out to properties as he updates our records. Please check your 2024 Summer Tax Bill to see if your primary residence exemption is correct. If you feel an error has been made, contact Frank Roenicke by July 12, 2024.  Property Transfers and Homestead Affidavits must be filed with Frank Roenicke at 8681 Wandering Way, Freeland , MI  48623.  Upon a transfer of property (Deed, Land Contract, etc) the taxable value will be uncapped and rise to the assessed value. The uncapping will be determined by the date that the Deed or Land Contract was signed, not by when it was recorded.
