  • In person collection day at Ingersoll Township Hall for summer taxes will be Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 9 am to 5 pm.
  • Other times by appointment. Cash—Exact Amount! Postmarks are not accepted as payment date. Self-addressed stamped envelope needed for return paid receipt.

Tax Assessor

Our tax assessor is Frank Roenicke. He can be reached at 989-708-1162 or Mr. Roenicke will work continuously to keep our tax cards current and may from time to time be out to properties as he updates our records. Please cooperate with Mr. Roenicke should he stop out to your home or property

Please check your 2022 Winter Tax Bill to see if your primary residence exemption is correct. If you feel an error has been made, contact Frank Roenicke.  Property Transfers and Homestead Affidavits must be filed with Frank Roenicke at 8681 Wandering Way, Freeland , MI  48623.  Upon a transfer of property (Deed, Land Contract, etc) the taxable value will be uncapped and rise to the assessed value. The uncapping will be determined by the date that the Deed or Land Contract was signed, not by when it was recorded.
