Priority Waste Services became the Township’s solid waste collector on January 1, 2024.  The solid waste collection day is Monday for all residences.  We recycle every other week with the residences East of Sasse Road starting on January 2 due to the holiday and than back to Mondays starting on the 15^th.  Residences West of Sasse Road will begin recycling on Monday January 8^th.  See the informational sheets below: Solid Waste and Recycling Schedule for 2023, Acceptable Solid Waste and Recycling and Notification Letter from Priority.

Please refer to the 2024 calendar for your recycling schedule.  Please note that recycling is split into alternating weeks based on being East or West of Sasse Road. 

Your carts should be placed out by the curb no later than 6:00 a.m. on your collection day, though Priority recommends they should be placed out no later than than 7:00 p.m. the day before the pick up. Make sure you have placed your carts a minimum distance of four feet from all objects and back from edge of the road during snowplowing days.

Note that large items can be placed out on your regular pick up days.  Large items are defined as stoves, water tanks, washing machines, furniture, swing sets, patio furniture, chairs, couches, bed springs, water heaters, mattresses and other large waste materials.  Freon bearing appliances such as refrigerators, air conditioners and freezers will be collected.  NO TIRES ACCEPTED.
